La ' Vega Kicks Off 2015 With New Single "Kill'Em"...

Independent record label MVBEMG has set up a pretty busy schedule, for their up-and-coming female Hip Hop artist, La ' Vega. Between acting class, dance class, a new single, and a new music video, La ' Vega is hitting the ground in 2015 running.

Stephanie "La ' Vega" Lavigat spent every week in 2014 recording music at Quad Studios on Fridays, dance classes on Wednesdays, and went to the gym in between.

2014 also saw her being booked for several photo shoots with celebrity Hip Hop photographers Felix Natal Jr., and Jon Ricard. Her label also partnered with popular New York City director Taya Simmons, to shoot two music videos; "Leaving Today" and "The Girl You Like".

Abdel "Sosa" Russell, says La ' Vega needed artist development to nurture the star power that he saw in her....

All of this was and is a part of MVB Entertainment Music Group's (MVBEMG) artist development program; a focus that the music industry has done away with, due to the decline in music sales.

The label's owner, Abdel "Sosa" Russell, says La ' Vega needed artist development to nurture the star power that he saw in her, and that his label will continue to do so, regardless if the rest of the industry has shifted in the opposite direction.

While it is true that the music industry is seeing a decline in physical and even digital sales, La ' Vega still managed to sell music on iTunes. Some of which is being purchased overseas.

At press time, La ' Vega has just shot her 3rd music video with Taya Simmons, for her heartfelt single "Nappy". Her first single for 2015 "Kill'Em" has gone viral on YouTube, and she's also booked for her 3rd photo shoot with Felix Natal Jr.

On top of all of this, La ' Vega is diving deep into acting. She has acting class every week, and she says she's learning a lot and enjoying herself.
