The song describes the emotional torment that La ' Vega and girls like her go through while growing up...

In the song La ' Vega takes us back in time to her youth, and describes how she was treated like an outcast, just because she had "Nappy" hair. This is a common occurrence in some ethnic cultures, that till this day still goes on.

Thanks to Director Taya Simmons, the video will pull on the heart strings of anyone that sees it. The director had a cast of beautiful young girls with their hair in pigtails and afro puffs, smiling, crying, dancing, and in some scenes consoling each other.

La ' Vega's fans can see her latest music video on her record label's (MVBEMG) YouTube page, and they can also stream or purchase the single on any of the popular online music stores.

At press time La ' Vega has just finished selecting the songs for her 6th mixtape "GoneGirl.GirlGone", which is tentatively slated for a May, 2015 release date.
